Earth Day Celebration in Tampa Bay

Join The Patel College of Global Sustainability this Saturday, April 21, at the USF Botanical Garden for Earth Day 2012. The celebration takes place from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Find details at www.usf.edu/earthday.
This year’s theme is ‘Go Native’, promoting the importance of using native plants in our urban landscape. Thousands of people from the Tampa Bay area attend this event filled with eco-friendly vendors, food, music, and more.
This year’s event is sponsored by Tampa Electric Co., Tampa Bay water, Ikea Tampa, and City Water Tampa.
USF Botanical Gardens is located one block north of the corner of Fowler Ave. & Bruce B. Downs Blvd. Admission and parking are FREE, but we encourage the use of alternative transportation.
